CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Democratic Party of Lake County will hold the 24th annual Democratic Legislator’s BBQ on Sunday, Oct. 8.

The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Highlands Senior Center, 3245 Bowers Ave. in Clearlake.

The honorable Delaine Eastin, candidate for California governor, will deliver the keynote address.

Distinguished guest speakers are Congressman Mike Thompson, Congressman John Garamendi, State Sen. Mike McGuire and Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry.

Volunteers will serve barbecued tri-tip. Sides, desserts and vegetarian offerings will be catered by Cactus Grill of Clearlake.

The silent auction will feature items from Lake County businesses and unique donations from members.

A U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, once again, generously donated by Congressman Mike Thompson will be available for raffle.

David Neft, a Lake County favorite, will provide the music.

Tickets at the door or reservations received after Saturday, Sept. 30: $40 each under 55 years of age; $35 each 55 years of age and over; $25 each student.

All tickets are held at the door.
