LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Public Works Department reported that a sidewalk project this week will result in a partial closure on Third Street.

The road work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Sept. 29.

Officials said the eastbound lane of Third Street will be closed between Forbes Street and Main Street for the sidewalk construction work.

The city asks that drivers use alternate routes and be aware of workers in the area.
