The route will travel north on North High Street, then east on Lakeshore Blvd, then north on Giselman Street, then crossing at Lange Street onto the school campuses.
More than 1,000 students and staff are expected to participate.
There will be two 10- to 15-minute periods beginning at 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. when roadway closures and traffic controls will be in place.
Those locations will be North High Street at 17th Street, Lakeshore Boulevard at 20th Street, Lakeshore Boulevard at Green Street, Lakeshore Boulevard at Ashe Street, Sayre Street both east and west of Giselman Street, Hillcrest at Giselman Street, Robles Drive at Giselman Street and Lange Street both east and west of Giselman Street.
Motorists traveling through these areas at the listed times are asked to use an alternate route or be patient with the short closures and traffic controls. An alternate route to the School is Hartley Street to Forest Drive.
Any parents who are dropping their children off at the High Street Village Shopping Center student staging area are asked to follow the marked lanes and signs that will be set up in the shopping center.
Numerous units from Lakeport Police, Lakeport Public Works, the California Highway Patrol, Lakeport Fire and school district staff will be in the area to provide for traffic and student safety.
