LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – On Friday the county of Lake reopened to the public Mt. Konocti County Park, Konocti Regional Trails and Highland Springs Recreational Area.

Officials thanked county residents for understanding and observing recent park closures due to adverse weather conditions and wildfire risk.

The weather has now changed, and the county reported that the beauty and outdoor adventure these parks offer can once again be enjoyed by all.
