CLEARLAKE, Calif. – On Halloween, Clearlake City Hall was the location of the annual “City Hall-oween” for local children hosted by the city of Clearlake and made possible by the donations of many.
“This was another great event made possible by the generosity of many individuals and organizations who volunteered or contributed goodies for the kids,” said City Clerk Melissa Swanson.
More than three hundred reflective treat bags stuffed with candy and toys were given out in
three hours.
Cecil’s Pizza generously donated 20 large cheese and pepperoni pizzas.
Additionally, Dr. Mark Cooper and Adventist Health donated 300 toothbrushes and dental flossers to clean the sugar from the trick-or-treaters’ teeth.
“Thank you to everyone who made this 100% volunteer and donation-funded event a success this year and we look forward to next year!” said City Manager Greg Folsom.
The following individuals and organizations contributed goodies or other assistance to the event: Cecil’s Pizza, Walmart, Foods Etc., Chuck and Vicki Leonard, Karen and Dale Valentine, Joann Cox, Clearlake Automotive, A & B Collision, Grocery Outlet, Susan Goodnoe, Burrell’s Automotive, Clearlake Growth Program, Liz Byrd, Lisa Wilson, Joan Moore, Beth Kaiman, and City Hall and Police Department staff members who donated time and candy.
