KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Clear Lake Junior Horsemen, or CLJH, created quite an amazing presence last night at the Kelseyville Business Association’s Christmas in the Country Parade of Lights.

CLJH members parents and alumni, as well as jousters Scott Donahue and Brian Claiche, joined Nikki Keithly and Danelle Rogers, who orchestrated the event.

At least 30 horses and riders were lit up like Christmas trees and moved down Main Street without a hitch.

Other parents and younger members, Serenity Shores, Alexandra Huxley and Berlin Rudolph rode in the truck that carried the banner to lead the way. It was really something to see.

Anyone who knows horses and kids can’t help knowing how good it made these CLJH families feel and how much it does for the confidence of the youngsters who were able to participate. It’s not something they will be forgetting anytime soon.
