LAKEPORT, Calif. – Sourdough – it’s more than just bread.

Sourdough cakes, cinnamon rolls and brownies are an easy to way to give your baked gifts a delicious new twist, as Amy Patton will demonstrate at the Lakeport branch of Lake County Library, located at 1425 N. High St.

The public is invited to the free program on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Patton will lead the class through making a sourdough starter and she will demonstrate several sweet treats using sourdough starter.

Guests will be able to take home sourdough recipes. All supplies will be provided.
