KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Sons of Norway Vikings of Lake Lodge will hold its annual Scandinavian Christmas open house on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. in the Galilee Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 8860 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville.

The open house will feature the annual Santa Lucia pageant and caroling around the tree.

There will be Scandinavian Christmas decor with assorted delicacies, including Danish aebleskiver, krumkake, lefse, rommegrot, open-faced sandwiches and much more.

Other offerings will include a raffle for beautiful baskets filled with goodies, homemade ceramic pieces, jellies and more to adopt the lodge’s Adopt-A-School community service project.

Visitors also will be able to visit the bakery to buy Scandinavian cookies, lefse, almond cakes and more, and 2018 Scandinavian calendars – Danish, Norwegian and Swedish – will be available.
