LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Sulphur fire resulted in delays, but thanks to the dedication of community volunteers, Habitat for Humanity Lake County is pleased to announce two home dedications as 2017 closes.
At noon on Saturday, Dec. 9, Habitat’s staff and volunteers will celebrate with the Steffan-Alvarez family as they are welcomed into their new home on 3382 Green St. in Clearlake.
The following week, at noon on Saturday, Dec. 16, the Callison-Evans family, victims of the Clayton fire, will celebrate getting back into their home on 8898 Quarterhorse Lane in Lower Lake.
Habitat for Humanity invites the community to celebrate with them and these two deserving families, welcoming them into their homes in time for the Christmas holiday season.
If you would like to volunteer to assist other families to get into safe, decent, affordable housing, please contact the Habitat for Humanity office at 707-994-1100, Extension 103.
