LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lake County Public Services announced the upcoming Christmas closures for the county’s museums.

The Historic Courthouse Museum in Lakeport will be closed Sunday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 27, for the Christmas holiday.

The Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 27, for the Christmas holiday.

The Historic Courthouse Museum in Lakeport and the Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake will reopen Thursday, Dec. 28.

Normal operating hours at the Courthouse Museum in Lakeport are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

The Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake is normally open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.

The Gibson Museum in Middletown is open Thursday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
