LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Clear lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club assembled 168 bags of Valentine cards and candy for Meals on Wheels clients.

Club member Claire Grieve has coordinated this project for 11 years.

It is a fun and rewarding project that the club's members enjoy. It always feels good to do something nice for others so they can have a little something special with their Valentine's Day meal.

The garden club will have its regular meeting at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Scotts Valley Women’s Club House at 2298 Hendricks Road, Lakeport. A light lunch will be served.
