Middletown Luncheon Club reschedules ‘State of the County’ address

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Luncheon Club will host District 1 Supervisor Moke Simon’s annual “State of the County” address at its meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

The meeting will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St.

Simon had been scheduled to speak at the January meeting but came down with the flu.

At the Feb. 21 meeting Simon will discuss what the Board of Supervisors accomplished in 2017 and what is ahead in 2018.

The cost for the luncheon – Chicken Parmesan, garden salad and an orange wedge – is $5 per person or those who want to just listen may attend for free.
