LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Office of Education will hold the annual Children's Advocacy Walk & Festival on Saturday, April 21, in Lakeport’s Library Park.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event will support and celebrate Lake County’s children with free food, fun and games.
The opening ceremonies will take place at 10 a.m.
At 10:15 a.m. the advocacy walk will take place from Library Park to Natural High and back.
Tribal dancers will perform at 11 a.m. at Library Park, followed by the Clear Lake Clikkers at 11:30 a.m.
The Lake County Library will be there for storytime and Taylor White will be leading Zumba, in addition to other activities.
