LAKEPORT, Calif. – The First 5 Lake Commission will meet on Wednesday, May 9.

The commission will meet at 2 p.m. at the Department of Social Services, 14092 Lakeshore Drive, Clearlake.

Agenda items include review and approval of First 5 Lake’s 2018-19 Budget, review and approve recommendation of the By-Laws Review Ad-Hoc Committee, public hearings on First 5 Lake’s 2014-19 Strategic Plan and the Long-Range Financial Plan; approval of a funding request from Lake County Breastfeeding Coalition for a Comfort Station at the 2018 Lake County Fair, executive director’s report and discussion, and updates and discussion regarding tobacco and marijuana.

All those interested in the well-being of families and young children are encouraged to attend.

The commission includes Chair Pam Klier, Vice Chair Denise Pomeroy and members Brock Falkenberg, Tina Scott, Crystal Markytan, Susan Jen, Laurie Daly, Carly Swatosh and Allison Panella.
