LAKEPORT, Calif. – The First 5 Lake Commission will meet on Wednesday, June 13.

The commission will meet beginning at 2 p.m. in the Kesey Room at the Lake County Office of Education, 1152 S. Main St., Lakeport.

Agenda items include approval of the April financial reports, an update on term expirations and designees, review and approval of the three-year evaluation contract with Social Entrepreneurs Inc., a strategic planning process and timeline discussion, and updates and discussion regarding tobacco and marijuana.

There also will be reports from Executive Director Carla Ritz and the commissioners.

All those interested in the well-being of families and young children are encouraged to attend.

The commission includes Chair Pam Klier, Vice Chair Denise Pomeroy and members Brock Falkenberg, Tina Scott, Crystal Markytan, Susan Jen, Laurie Daly, Carly Swatosh and Allison Panella.
