NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Shoulder work near Foothill Drive will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 29
– Roadwork from Spruce Road to Spruce Lane will begin Monday, June 25. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Lake Street to Forestry Fire Station to begin on Wednesday, June 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work 1 mile south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work near Soldier Point Viaduct will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours day. Motorists should minor traffic slowdowns.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Hardy Creek to Georgia Pacific Picnic Area to begin on Monday, June 25. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Paving work from Lake Mendocino Park East Entrance to Road 260 will begin on Monday, June 25. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 101
– Emergency work at Russian River Bridge will begin. One-way traffic control will be in effect in both directions 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorist should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Pieta Creek Bridge to Private Road will occur on Friday, June 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Pavement work near the Route 222 junction will continue. The southbound offramp will be fully closed. Motorists should find an alternate route.
– Emergency work south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorist should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work north of Uva Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Sonoma County Land Corp. has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for sidewalk work at Haehl Creek Bridge to begin on Friday, June 22. Lane closures will be in effect until 4 p.m. Monday, June 25. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Reynolds Highway to River Dale Motel will occur on Friday, June 22. Lane closures will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Steele & Davidson Lane to Empire Camp Rest Area will occur Monday, June 25. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work from Road 307 to Rattlesnake Summit will occur on Friday, June 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Kate Wolf Music Festival has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for Thursday, June 28, and Friday, June 29. Lane closures at 3.5 miles south of Rattlesnake Summit will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Rattlesnake Creek Bridge to Dora Creek Bridge will occur Tuesday, June 26. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Construction at Jitney Gulch Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping work from Standish Hickey to Benbow Drive will occur Wednesday, June 27. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency work at Bell Glenn Resort to the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Sierra Nevada World Music Festival has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for Friday, June 23; Saturday, June 23; and Sunday, June 24. Lane closures at Haehl Street will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency work from Hibbard Road to Big Oaks Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Wall work at The Middle Way will continue. One-way traffic control with temporary stop signs will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Emergency work east of the entrance to Motorcycle Park will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
