LAKEPORT, Calif. – Trash collection in portions of Lakeport that are no longer subject to the mandatory evacuation order have resumed.

Lakeport Disposal began servicing portions of the city this morning and plans to resume the regular pickup schedule next week.

Customers are directed to only use the black trash cans for the first week after trash service resumes.  

Additional trash-only drop off boxes will be set up at the Lake Recycling Center at Shoreline Shopping Center (1285 S. Main St.) and the vacant lot at 910 N. Main St. C
