LAKEPORT, Calif. – The First 5 Lake Commission will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The commission will meet beginning at 2 p.m. in the Kesey Room at the Lake County Office of Education, 1152 S. Main St., Lakeport.

Agenda items include children’s champion nominations, approval of the Aug. 15 regular meeting reports and July financial reports, the Strategies 2.0 memorandum of understanding, appointment of an ad hoc committee for recruitment and review of applicants for the open at-large commissioner seat, appointment of the ad hoc committee for solicitation and review of 2019-2021 grant proposals, and the 2019-2024 strategic planning ongoing discussion.

There also will be reports from Executive Director Carla Ritz and the commissioners.

All those interested in the well-being of families and young children are encouraged to attend.

The commission includes Chair Pam Klier, Vice Chair Denise Pomeroy and members Brock Falkenberg, Tina Scott, Crystal Markytan, Susan Jen, Laurie Daly, Carly Swatosh and Allison Panella.
