LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Caltrans said a full closure of Highway 175 over the Hopland Grade will need to continue on Friday, Oct. 19, for the recovery of plywood from a semi wreck that occurred last week.

The closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday from 5.6 miles east of US Highway 101 to Mathews Road in Lake County.

Caltrans said full closure of Route 175 is needed for recovery of an over length semi-truck that went over the embankment Oct. 11.

The contractor needs another day to retrieve all the plywood the truck was hauling.
