KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Sons of Norway Vikings of Lake Lodge will host its annual Scandinavian Christmas Open House on Saturday, Dec. 8.

The open house will take place from noon to 3 p.m. at Galilee Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, located at 8860 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville.

The event is free.

There will be Scandinavian Christmas décor with assorted delicacies such as Danish Æbleskiver, lefse, open-faced sandwiches, krumkake, rommegrøt and much more.

The open house also features the Santa Lucia Pageant and caroling around the Christmas tree.

Other offerings include the Viking raffle for beautiful baskets filled with goodies, handmade ceramic pieces, jellies and more to benefit the group’s Adopt-a-School Community Service Project.

There also will be opportunities to purchase a variety of Scandinavian cookies, lefse, almond cakes and more, and to purchase 2019 Scandinavian calendars – Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.
