LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol and Caltrans are reporting a closure on a portion of Highway 20 from eastern Lake County to Colusa County due to overnight flooding.
Highway 20 from the junction of Highway 53 in Clearlake Oaks to E Street in Colusa County is closed because of the roadway being washed out in several places, the CHP said early Thursday morning.
Caltrans is advising motorists to use an alternate route.
No estimate has been given for the highway’s reopening.
