CDFA is seeking technical review committee members for 2019 Pet Lover's License Plate Grant Program

SACRAMENTO – The California Department of Food and Agriculture is welcoming volunteers with knowledge and expertise in California's veterinary industry to serve on the 2019 Pet Lover's License Plate Grant Program Technical Review Committee.

This committee reviews, evaluates and makes recommendations to CDFA on proposals submitted for funding to California's Pet Lover's License Plate Grant Program.

These grants are awarded through a competitive solicitation process, and they're designed to prevent pet overpopulation in California by providing funds for spay and neuter services to municipalities and non-profit organizations. Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $50,000 per project.

The Technical Review Committee consists of representatives from government and non-government organizations. Technical Review Committee members will begin work in March 2019.
