NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Emergency work from Mendocino County Line to Witter Springs Road will begin on Monday, March 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Bartlett Springs Road to Foothill Drive on Friday, March 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Road 8067 to Fish Rock Road on Friday, March 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near Happy Lane on Friday, March 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Emergency work 2 miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Road 260 to Old Lake County Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work 2 miles south of Nelson Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work 11 miles south of Humboldt County line to Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 175
– Emergency work at Lake County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours a day. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 253
– Emergency work Route 128 Boonville to Anderson Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Anderson Creek Bridge to Singley Cattlepass will begin on Friday, March 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Singley Cattlepass to 1 mile west of Soda Creek Bridge will begin on Friday, March 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 271
– Bridge work at McCoy Creek Bridge will continue. A full bridge closure is in effect. Motorists should plan an alternate route.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
