Middletown Luncheon Club plans March 13, 20 meetings

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – This month, there will be not one but two Middletown Luncheon Club meetings.

As Supervisor Moke Simon was ill for the February Luncheon Club, his State of the County address has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 13.

The regularly scheduled March Luncheon Club will be on Wednesday, March 20, and will feature Kevin and Valerie Cox, who will give us an update on their Hope City work.

Simon will speak about what's been going on at the Board of Supervisors since last year and what the future may hold. Bring your questions.

This lunch always sells out; make your reservations early. Remember, you may also come and listen for free without lunch, just let the senior center or Beth Rudiger know that's your wish so they can be sure to have chairs and space.

Lunch will be served by the senior center on Wednesday, March 13, at noon at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St.

The program will end promptly at 1 p.m.

For only $5 per person, enjoy a meal of spaghetti, zucchini, Caesar salad, and French bread. You may also just come and listen to the speaker for free. Everyone is welcome!

Reservations are required. Please call 987-3113 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
