UCCE Master Gardeners to host March 23 fairy garden workshop

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Are you looking to add a little bit of everyday “magic” to your home or garden?

Give your green thumb a place to tend year-round and to lure fairies with good luck to your home.

Come join the fairy garden workshop where you can create a miniature garden complete with structures and actual living plants.

The UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake County will present the workshop from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 23, at the Agricultural Building Lobby at 883 Lakeport Blvd., Lakeport.

For a fee of $25 they will have all the basics, such as a pot, soil and a few small plants.

They also will guide you in making some simple "fairy furniture."

You can bring your own “wee folk” and accessories or purchase fairies and fairy accessories separately (by cash or check only).

RSVP and pre-payment of $25 required by March 21.
