NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Emergency work from Mendocino County Line to Witter Springs Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Road 8067 to Fish Rock Road on Friday, March 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Maintenance work from Navarro Ridge Road to Spring Grove Road will occur on Monday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Elm Street to Mill Creek Drive on Friday, March 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Emergency work 2 miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work from North Capella Overcrossing to Redwood Valley Undercrossing will begin on Sunday, March 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work 11 miles south of Humboldt County line to Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Emergency work from the East limits of Philo to Anderson Valley Way will begin Friday, March 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near Corral Creek Bridge on Wednesday, March 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Road 337K on Tuesday, March 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Emergency work at Lake County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours a day. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 253
– Emergency work Route 128 Boonville to Anderson Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Anderson Creek Bridge to Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Singley Cattlepass to 1 mile west of Soda Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 271
– Bridge work at McCoy Creek Bridge will continue. A full bridge closure is in effect. Motorists should plan an alternate route.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
