NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Striping operation from the Mendocino County Line to west of New Long Valley Road. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Lakeshore Blvd to Bruner Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work west of Gladys Street on Friday, Aug. 2. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Highway construction for the Hartmann Roundabout from Putah Lane to Spruce Lane / Hidden Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Diener Drive to Route 281/North Soda Bay Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Road E and Road 110 on Tuesday, July 30. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Utility work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Drainage work south of Iverson Avenue, Point Arena will begin Wednesday, July 25. Daily 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted an encroachment permit for tree work from Kinney Road to south of Irish Beach Drive on Wednesday, July 24 through Friday, July 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Alder Creek Beach to Irish Beach Drive will begin on Monday, July 29. Daily 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Slide removal from Mallo Pass Creek to Elk Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Slide removal from North Limits Elk to south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Core drilling at Salmon Creek Bridge will continue. One-way intermittent traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work between Cameron Road and Pacific Reefs Road will occur on Friday, Aug. 2. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Bridge work from Jct 128 East Navarro River will begin, Monday, July 29. Daily 24-hour traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Bridge work from Pacific Reefs Road to Spring Grove Road will begin, Monday, July 29. Daily 24-hour traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Bridge work from Caspar Lake Road to Caspar Vista Point will begin, Monday, July 29. Daily 24-hour traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Road work/paving operation from Two Rock Lookout to Willits Cemetery Road will continue. Daily 24-hour traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Main Street, to the Redwood 101 Undercrossing, Fort Bragg will begin Sunday, July 28. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping operation and sign work from Access Road to Road 260 in Potter Valley will continue. Daily 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Road grinding operation from Cold Creek Bridge to Private Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Guardrail replacement from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays at night and minor delays during the day.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road. Motorists can expect delays.
– Roadway excavation from Sherwood Road to Main Street will continue. Daily 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate up to 15-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Irvine Lodge Rest Area Northbound will be closed until further notice.
– Roadwork from Cummings Road Undercrossing to Scandia will begin Friday, July 26, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Highway construction crack sealing operation from Route 1 to Mill Creek will occur on 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Anderson Creek to Mountain View Road will begin Monday, July 29. Daily 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
Highway 253
– Slide removal and drainage work Route 128 (Boonville) Anderson Creek Bridge to Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
