LAKEPORT, Calif. – Classes for Lakeport Unified School District students are back in session on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

The Lakeport Police Department is reminding all drivers to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of and on the grounds of the Lakeport schools on Lange Street.

“We expect heavier than normal vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the mornings and afternoons. Officers will be increasing traffic enforcement in the area,” the agency said.
