LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lucerne Area Town Hall will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Aug. 15.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive.

Items on the agenda include an update on the drafted proposed bylaws, an update on the meeting regarding the effort to get loan forgiveness for California Water Service Co. water plant, and discussion and consideration of a public bulletin board at Lucerne Harbor Park.

Herman Hernandez, public affairs representative for Pacific Gas and Electric Co., also will give an informational presentation on the company’s Public Safety Power Shutoff Program.
