NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Striping operation from the Mendocino County Line to New Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Core drilling from Witter Springs Road to Bachelor Creek Bridge will occur on Tuesday, Aug. 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Ogden Road to Bruner Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Utility work from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Striping operation from North Fork Cache Creek to the Colusa County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Striping operation from Route 29 to Siegler Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Sheveland Road to Callayomi Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Saint Helena Creek to Bar X Ranch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Pavement marker replacement from Clayton Creek Road to the Lakeport Blvd. Overcrossing will begin on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Striping operation from Route 53 North Lower Lake to Bell Park Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Siegler Canyon Road to Kelseyville Auto Sales will begin Sunday, Aug. 25. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Diener Drive to Konocti Forestry Camp will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 53
– Striping operation from Junction 53 to Junctions 20 and 29 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Utility work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Drainage work south of Iverson Avenue, Point Arena will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Alder Creek Beach to Alder Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Slide removal from Mallo Pass Creek to Elk Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Navarro Bluff Road to Junction 128 East will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorist should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Core drilling at Salmon Creek Bridge will continue. One-way intermittent traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 20-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Pacific Reefs Road to Spring Grove Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorist should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Caspar Lake Road to Caspar Vista Point will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorist should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from South Harbor Drive to Babcock Lane on Tuesday, Aug. 27, and Wednesday, Aug. 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Two Rock Lookout to Willits Cemetery Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Shoulder work from Cold Creek Bridge to Private Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency roadwork from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Grinding and paving work from Ramsey Road to Rattlesnake Summit will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 4 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Shoulder work on the Piercy on-ramp will continue from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
Old Highway 101
– Roadway excavation from Sherwood Road to Main Street in Willits will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate up to 15-minute delays.
Highway 128
– Highway construction will occur between Route 1 to East Limits Philo beginning, Monday, Aug. 26, from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for tree work at Mountain House Road on Tuesday, Aug. 27, and Wednesday, Aug. 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Bridge work will occur between Anderson Creek to Mountain View Road beginning Friday, Aug. 23, from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
