KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – On Sept. 11, Lake County Republican Women Federated will host Joyce Mucci, field representative for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, known as FAIR.
The meeting will at Laujor Estate Winery, 8664 Seigler Springs North Road in Kelseyville, with a special catered luncheon by Laujor.
With the current crisis on the southern border, the group is pleased to have Mucci spend time covering the topic of the United States losing $150 billion annually in foreign remittance payments.
She will be coming from Kansas City, where she has made her home for the last 25 years, after having grown up in Washington, DC.
Mucci was a former lobbyist with Missouri Right to Life but switched gears to pursue a public relations career. She was the public relations coordinator for the International Council of Cruise Lines in Arlington, Virginia, and the former director of communications for the Center for the America Founding in Washington, D.C. She also did a stint as a radio talk show host.
Mucci has spoken at the Kentucky Federation of Republican Women’s Convention 2018, Florida Federation of Republican Women State Convention 2013, National Federation of Republican Women’s National Convention in Kansas City 2010, and local FRW clubs in her 18-state region.
After 40 years, FAIR remains the leader in the fight to end illegal immigration, secure America's borders and reduce overall immigration levels. It evaluates policies and seeks solutions to reduce negative impact of uncontrolled immigration on the nation’s security, economy, jobs, education, health care and environment.
As a concerned American, this is one meeting you will definitely want to attend.
LCRWF will also be hosting Cody Meltzer of Clearlake Oaks, 11th grade winner of the Americanism Essay Contest, “In my opinion, what it means to be an American patriot.” Committee Chair Teresa Jackson will be presenting the award.
