LAKEPORT, Calif. – A well-tended sewing machine is a happy, cooperative sewing machine.
Lakeport Library announces that Harry Hershey, longtime sewing machine technician for Kerrie’s Quilting, will demonstrate the basic cleaning and oiling skills to keep your home sewing machine in good working order on Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. during the library’s free Fabric Club meeting.
Bring your own machine to get individual help.
Fabric Club invites anyone with an interest in any fabric-related craft or art to participate.
Special guests at this meeting will be representatives from Blanchard Library in Santa Paula, California, here to visit Lake County Library’s Makerspace Program.
