LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Fair Board, also known as the 49th District Agricultural Association, will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, March 23.

The meeting will be held in the Administration Office, 401 Martin St., Lakeport, and at 2399 Gateway Oaks Drive, Sacramento.

Key matters to be discussed and acted upon include committee reports, the latest on the Fair Foundation Ag Day, the update from interim consultant CEO Jim Brown and the official welcome of new CEO, Sheli Wright.

The board also will discuss the governor’s emergency proclamation and novel coronavirus awareness and resources, recruiting new Fair Board members, preparations for this year’s fair and revenue generation ideas.
