Caltrans plans major roadwork through April 9

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Burpee Drive to Fifteenth Street on Thursday, April 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Rancho Vista Drive on Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Tree work from New Long Valley Road to the Colusa County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Guardrail work near the Colusa County Line will begin on Monday, March 30. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 175

– Tree work from Arroyo Vista Road to Santa Clara Street will begin Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Private Road to Road E- Rd 110 will begin Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Tree work from Salmina Drive to Summit Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Tree work from Arroyo Vista Road to Anderson Springs Road will begin Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– Utility work from Jct 20 East to Elm Street will begin on Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Utility work at North Harbor Drive to Elm Street will occur on Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 20

– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Slide removal from Comminsky Station to East Side Road will continue. Lane controls will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Guardrail work from Eastside Road to Pieta Creek Bridge will begin Monday, April 6. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Mowing will occur from Russian River to Nelson Road on Friday, April 3. Moving lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 222

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Sanford Ranch Road to West Street on Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 253

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Slide Creek to Stipp Lane beginning Monday, April 6 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect minor delays.
