Patricia "Patty" Patten
1918-2018
LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Patty Patten, peacefully riding her horse to the big rodeo in the sky, passed away on Oct. 15, 2018.
She was born in San Francisco on Sept. 20, 1918, to Mark and Leila Wright.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and youngest son, Jonathan "Scotty" Patten.
She is survived by sons, Dennis (Lorna), Daniel (Karen), Thomas "Pete" (Sandy), and Douglas (Jill) Patten; along with many grand and great-grandchildren.
Patty worked as as a pear rancher, cow rancher, postal worker, real estate agent and enjoyed many other activities.
Patty's favorite activity was horseback riding. She was a founding member of the Clear Lake Senior Horsemen's Club and an active member of the Lake County Republican Women's Club. Patty's proudest accomplishment was establishing the Glen Eden Trail to provide public access to the Cow Mountain Recreation Area.
Memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. A potluck get together will follow at Scotts Valley Clubhouse – turn left at Scotts Creek Bridge and onto Hendricks road for 100 yards.

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Mark Roy Morrison, 62, passed away on Oct. 17, 2018, in Clearlake.
He was born Feb. 19, 1956, in Beaumont, Calif.
Mark was formerly a resident of Vacaville, Calif., later moving to Clearlake and making Lake County his home for the last six years.
He served in the Air Force from 1974 to 1994, serving his country proudly for 20 years.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Joy DeGraffenreid of Clearlake; his son, Chad Morrison of Long Beach, Calif.; his sister, Victoria Clause of Ojai, Calif.; and his friend, Ellen Nash of Clearlake.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was born on June 22, 1954, in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Bruce made Lake County his home for nine years. He was formerly a resident of Mountain Ranch, Calif.
Bruce worked in health care as an in-home health aide for the last nine years.
He was in the Navy and proudly served his country for 19 months.
Bruce was a member of the Clearlake Callayomi Lodge 183.
He is survived by his mother, Sheila Bening of Clearlake; his stepfather, William Bening of Clearlake; his son, Thomas Walls (Susan) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephew, Tyson Richardson (Nicole) Ashley and Carly of Newbury Park, Calif.; nephew, Larry Max Kent, Larry Max Jr. and Brantley of Arco, Calif.; grandchildren, Thaddeus and Anakin Walls; step grandchildren, Robin and Amanda Seagraves of Chico, Calif., and Scotty, Lance and Luke Seagraves of Livermore, Calif.
Predeceased by his longtime partner of 20 years, Lynn Seagraves.
