Willora Lucille Perryman Lange
March 31, 1932 – July 9, 2014
KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Willora Lucille Perryman Lange, 82, of Kelseyville, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
“Lu” was born in Springfield, Missouri, and grew up as a “preacher’s kid,” traveling throughout the Missouri Conference of the Methodist Church.
Her parents were Willis and Cora Perryman of Bolivar, Missouri, and her brother was Leonard Perryman, of Dayton, Ohio.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Central College in Fayette, Missouri, in 1954. During her years at Central she met and married the love of her life, Allen Lee Lange.
They lived in Wyoming, Michigan and Sacramento, Calif., before residing in Concord for 23 years. After retiring, they moved to Kelseyville, where they have lived for the past 22 years.
Lu was an exceptional athlete, loved old movies and musical theater, and enjoyed volunteering in many organizations. She also loved singing and she was active in many choirs throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband, Allen; sister-in-law, Shirley Perryman (Dayton, OH); three children, Perry (Virginia Beach, VA), Lauri (Napa, CA), and Kevin (Houston, TX); two daughters-in-law, Melissa and Lisa; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Sara, William and Andrew.
Her sense of humor, generosity and loving heart will be missed by many people across the country.
Services will be held Friday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m. at her beloved local church, United Christian Parish, 745 N. Brush St., Lakeport.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lu’s honor for the United Christian Parish Choir.

LOWER LAKE, Calif. – Kenneth Hart of Lower Lake lived in Lake County for 37 years, was born in 1944 in Denver, Colo., and passed away with family and friends at his side on July 6, 2014.
He graduated from George Washington High School and studied diesel mechanics at Emily Griffith Opportunity School in Denver.
From the time he was very young, he worked in some capacity of trucking. He was an over-the-road driver for many years, and traveled to all 48 states and many parts of Canada.
When he was very young, he and his dad built a roadster. He also dragraced at Continental Divide Raceway in Castle Rock, Colo.
He enjoyed fishing, being on the ocean, camping in the mountains and going to car shows.
He is survived by son, Robert Johnson of Aurora, Colo.; one grandson; brothers, Lloyd (Pat) of Lower Lake, Harold from Golden, Colo., and sister Rose (Johnny) Davison from Denver; and his longtime partner, Agnes. He’ll be missed by many.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Jones & Lewis Clearlake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake.
