CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Andrew Baback, age 87, entered into rest at his home in Clearlake on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and formerly of Santa Rosa, Andrew lived in Clearlake for the past 24 years.
Andrew was predeceased by his beloved wife of 17 years, Edith Baback, to whom he was still devoted to for 45 years.
Andrew is survived by his loving children: Jane Baback of Sonoma, June Faught of Clearlake, Bonnie Baback of Reno, Nev. and Scot Baback of Santa Rosa. He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to Jones & Lewis Clearlake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake.

Ann F. Johnson
August 19, 1925 - June 3, 2014
LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Ann F. Johnson of Lake County died Tuesday, June 3. She was 88 years old.
Born in Healdsburg and raised in Oakland, Ann married her handsome sailor, Hank Johnson in 1944.
They moved to San Leandro and raised three daughters, Linda Rittler, Jeannette Wucherer and Suzanne Kinavey.
When not busy sewing and crafting, Ann volunteered in the girls' elementary schools, serving as librarian and active in the PTA. In 1961 she began her career in retail sales.
A longtime summer and weekend resident at the family homestead in Clear Lake, Ann and Hank moved to their beloved lake in the 1980s.
Ann was active in Park Study and at St. John's Lutheran Church where she served on the alter guild and as a Sunday School teacher.
In her later years, Ann was an active participant in Adult Day Care of Clearlake.
Ann is survived by her three daughters, two sons-in-law, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She loved nature and wildlife and was fondly referred to as "Grandma Duck" by her grandchildren and "G-G" by her great-grands.
A celebration of remembrance will be held at Lily Cove on July 26 beginning at 11 a.m. Friends are invited to join this time of remembrance.
The family wishes to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the many friends and family members who helped in Ann's care, to the Adult Day Care, Clearlake, Hospice Services of Lake County, and to Laura, a very special caregiver.

CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Doug Clark, born Aug. 19, 1963, in Oakland, Calif., died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at his home in Clearlake Oaks.
Doug is survived by his loving family: his wife of 34 years, Merrilee; two sons, Michael and Daniel Clark; two grandchildren, Melody and Rorik Clark; brother, Kyle; sister, Terri; and his many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind friends that he called brothers: Todd, Ray, Dan, Tony and Carl, and many other friends.
He will be truly missed.
