Florence Halfen entered the glory of Heaven Jan. 6, 2014, in Redding, Calif.
She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on Sept. 18, 1920.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Marvin Halfen, on Nov. 16, 1987.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol of Auburn, Calif., and Barbara of Redding; four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

LUCERNE, Calif. – Lorraine Blair passed away Dec. 27, 2013, at her Lucerne home with her family by her side.
Born and raised in Iowa, she moved to California in the late 1940s and became a licensed vocational nurse.
She was the beloved mother of Ed, Steve and Dave.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her son, Tony.
Graveside services will take place at Lower Lake Cemetery beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17.

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Dorothy Lee Mack Bradshaw, age 81, of Clearlake passed away on Jan. 1, 2014.
She was born on March 1, 1932, in Hastings, Fla., to Isreal and Alice Daniels.
She eventually moved to Buffalo, New York where she worked for 30 years at the Buffalo State Hospital. Dorothy later relocated to Lake County, Calif.
Dorothy belonged to the US Bowling Association, the Evening Star, the Masonic Lodge and served as a deacon.
Dorothy leaves behind two daughters, Rose M. Mack and Bernice (Lamar) Lacy, both of Clearlake; son, David Bradshaw of Buffalo, NY; sister, Barbara (Bobby) Alexander of San Leandro; brother, Clarence Daniels of Miami, Fla.; nieces: Dawn Robinson of Los Angeles and Dana (Troy) Roberts of Antioch; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Timothy Bradshaw, and her sons, Bruce Clay and Daniel Bradshaw.
A visitation will be help on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with the funeral service set for noon on Thursday, Jan. 9, to be followed by the committal service at Lower Lake Cemetery.
