James Edward Flockton of Kelseyville, Calif., passed away July 5, 2013 at the age of 56.

He is survived by his brother, Berkeley (Nancy) Flockton, and his wife, Judith Trimble.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – A memorial celebration for Carl Stewart will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m. at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre on Main Street in Lakeport.  

Anyone wishing to honor the life of Stewart is invited to attend.

Local musicians and friends will participate to honor Stewart, including performances of his original music.

Carl Stewart was a Lake County educator, musician and community supporter. A trained musician, he was well-known for his varied musical talents and performances.  

He was a teacher in the Konocti Unified School District until cancer forced his early retirement in the fall of 2012. He died on May 7, 2013.

James Newman Arnold passed peacefully July 1, 2013, in San Jose, Calif.

Jim, as he was known, was a past resident of Lakeport, Calif.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Arnold.

He is survived by his children, Gary (Linda), Carolyn Scaglione and Scott (Lisa).

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lakeport.

Jim will be laid to rest at Hartley Cemetery, Lakeport.
