Sadly, he passed away on March 12, 2013, in Lake County, Calif.
Buddy “Lee” was a military lifer, serving 27 years proudly in various military services.
He will be missed and was loved by many.

Nathan Kelly Fletcher, age 27, of Cobb Mountain, Calif., passed away late on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
He was born to Kelly Lee Fletcher and Gerri Marie Finn on April 1, 1985, in Arcata, Calif. Nathan graduated from Kelseyville High School in 2003.
Nathan was a gifted plumber who assisted many Lake County contractors, including his father for 16 years. He was an exceptional chef who always outdid himself. Nathan was an avid rock climber, snowboarder and mountain biker.
Nathan was an active member of the Cobb Mountain community. He often volunteered to enrich community members’ lives by assisting with any need. His friendly and loving personality attracted countless friends.
Nathan is survived by his mother and father, Gerri Finn and Kelly Fletcher, his brother and sister, Joe Fletcher and Michelle Hauprich, and his girlfriend Victoria Asbury.
Please join his family for a celebration of Nathan’s life at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Boggs Mountain on Forestry Road, Highway 175, Cobb, CA 95426.

Kathleen “Kit” Walker passed away peacefully on March 10, 2013 at the age of 91. She was a Lake County, Calif., resident for 32 years.
Kit grew up in Evansville, Ind., where she met her husband of 61 years, Jim.
While Jim was serving in the Army Air Corps in World War II, she contributed to the wartime effort as a “Rosie the Riveter” in assembling P-47 fighter planes.
After the war, they moved to Richmond, Calif., and spent many summers vacationing in Lake County, where they retired.
Kit had many diverse interests. She was a highly creative artist and an accomplished craftswoman, and was prolific in her creation of a variety of often prize-winning crafts including needlepoint, crochet, basket making, resin sculpture and ceramics.
She loved plants and was famous for her green thumb. She was particularly fond of birds that she attracted to her garden. She was an accomplished organist, an avid reader and enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the United States with Jim. In her youth she loved to go roller skating.
Kit is survived by son, Roger and his wife Jeanne; grandchildren, Julie and Scott; son, Rick and his wife, Clare and grandson, Craig; brother, Leo and his wife Rosemary Datzman; sister-in-law, Bettye Brandenstein; sister-in-law, Norma Datzman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends for her energy, love of life and her smile.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 801 N. Main St. in Lakeport.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake County.
