DJ Hadley

On April 8, 2013, surrounded by loved ones, we lost a very special person known to many as DJ Hadley. He was 50.

DJ enjoyed riding his Harley, camping with family and friends, loved his puppies and was a big NASCAR fan.

He is survived by the love of his life, his loving wife, Jeannie; son, Brandon (Devan) Gentry and grandson, Koen; parents, Dean (Jo) Hadley; mother, Lois Goddard; siblings, Tom (Lisa), Richard and Pam.

Brother Donny Hadley and best friend Dennis Eszlinger preceded him in death.

We will always miss having him in our lives!

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 N. High St., Lakeport. Interment will follow at Upper Lake Cemetery.

Eric Giordanengo

Eric James Giordanengo, 35, of Middletown, Calif., passed away on March 15, 2013, at St. Helena Hospital surrounded by his family.

Eric was born Dec. 6, 1977, in Hayward, Calif., to Lana Getz. Eric and Sadie (Jackson) were married on June 9, 2012, at Middletown Farm and Cattle Co. in Middletown.

Eric attended Lower Lake High School and was continuing his goal of completing a criminal justice degree. Eric was employed as a security guard at Twin Pine Casino. He loved motorcycles, shooting, sports, music and movies. His love of sports was apparent with his coaching of the Middletown Colts football team.

He is survived by his wife, Sadie; daughters, Taylor Wellman, 14, of Middletown and Nicole Giordanengo, 10, of Clearlake; son, Jordan Giordanengo, age 5 months; mother, Lana Getz of Clearlake; stepfather, Mike Smith of Lower Lake; brother, Dylan of Sacramento; and in-laws Diane and Bill Jackson of Middletown.

His family would like to express a deep and heartfelt thank you to family and friends, the First Baptist Church, Twin Pine Casino and tribal members for all of their support and kind gestures during such a difficult time.

Loretta Sparrow

Loretta Sparrow was born April 17, 1934, in Muskogee Okla. She lost a 14-year-long battle with cancer on March 26, 2013.

She was predeceased by her husband, N.O. Sparrow and son John Clayton Sparrow.

She is survived by her nine children, Rita Sparrow, Larry Sparrow, Neil Sparrow (Julie), Lloyd Sparrow (Joanne), Thomas Sparrow, Patricia Bliner (Leo), Brenda Sparrow, Sharon Naber (Mike), and Laura Garcia. She had several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Services will be held at Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave., in Santa Rosa, Calif., on April 11.
