Phillip Wilson
May 10, 1934-Jan. 19, 2013
When Phil left this earth, the world lost a good man, a hard working, fun loving get-up-and-go person, a man who loved to tell his stories and to hear yours. He loved to travel and was always planning his next trip.
He was a terrific father and friend, and a wonderful, kind husband. He would wake up singing, eager to meet the day.
In high school he began working as a drapery installer's assistant and later had his own window covering business in Southern California for many years.
After he retired he moved to Kelseyville and built the house he now owns. He was a faithful friend of Bill W. for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; daughter, Pam; son, Ron (Barbara); and step-children, Scott (Shawn) and Kirstie (Nance); grandchildren, Alex, Shane and Claire; sister, Linda (Lee); nephews and nieces; a friendly ex-wife, Patti; and many friends.
A memorial gathering of family and friends in planned for later in the year.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice are encouraged.
He is deeply loved and will remain forever in our hearts.
