CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Jeanette Ruth Cargile Smith, 72, of Clearlake Oaks, passed away on July 20, 2020, in Lakeport, California.
Jeanette was born in Sacramento to Albert J. Cargile and Ella Mae Curley on Feb. 25, 1946. She married Edward Smith on May 18, 1985, in Hayward, California.
Jeanette graduated from Cal State, Hayward with an Associate’s Degree in accounting. She worked as an account supervisor for Hayward Area Recreation and Parks District for 26 years. She loved her fellow workers at H.A.R.D. and especially enjoyed company get-togethers.
She was an avid gardener who especially loved roses, bougainvillea and hibiscus. She absolutely loved the Christmas season and was famous for her cookies and fudge. She loved her boys and was a wonderful Mom. She also adored her puppies and made it clear to Ed that they were part of the package, currently Stormy and Ralphie.
Jeanette and Ed loved the “islands.” She was crazy about Elvis Presley and her favorite song was “Blue Hawaii.”
She was absolutely adored by her husband. He considered her to be his angel because she always was so gentle, kind, compassionate, and loving.
Jeanette is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by Ed, her loving husband of 35 years; their sons, Wesley and Joseph and their families; and her brother, Tim and sister-in-law, Wendy and their family.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Thomas A. Moore passed away in Lakeport on July 9, 2020, at the age of 78.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Glenda R. Moore.
Thomas is lovingly remembered by his three children, Jeri Meyer of Springfield, Oregon, John Moore of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Joy Moore of Half Moon Bay, California; his sister, Sandra Brugger of Reno, Nevada; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many more family and friends.

Genevieve L. Miranda (Hopper)
Sept. 9, 1945 - July 12, 2020
LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Genevieve passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Lake County at the age of 74.
Genevieve was born to her parents, Marx C. Hopper and Carmelita Patch. She was sister to David, Gus and Calvin Hopper and Patricia Want. She had a beautiful soul and was a beloved mother who will be missed by many.
Genevieve is survived by her children, Edward and Antoine Ellis, Jarrett, Garrett, Ella and Silvia Want; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by the love of her life, Stanley Want; daughter, Renee Ellis; and brother, Marx Hopper.
