California issues $3.6 million action against CVS to help consumers redeem recycling deposits

SACRAMENTO – The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery announced Monday that a $3.6 million enforcement action against CVS Health Corp. for failing to meet its obligation to redeem Californians’ deposits on recycled bottles and cans at stores throughout the state.

Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit lifts burn permit suspension in State Responsibility Area

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Effective Monday, Dec. 9, at 8 a.m., the burn permit suspension in the State Responsibility Area in Sonoma, Lake, Napa, Solano, Yolo and Colusa counties will be lifted.
