KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The May 2018 Spring Fling Luncheon at Boutique Winery in Kelseyville once again successfully raised monies for the Soroptimist International of Clear Lake, a volunteer organization dedicated to helping our community.

There was a delicious lunch catered by Fresh N Bangin’, desserts provided by the Advanced Culinary Arts Class at Woodland Community College, fabulous music by Scott Serena and an inspiring guest speaker Chris Stewart, known as the world's No. 1 Door to Door HOPE salesman.

Chris Stewart is a recovering heroin addict who travels the world teaching preventative education, tools for sustainable sobriety, and proven methods to achieve your dreams and overcome your fears one day at a time.

Soroptimist International of Clear Lake will use the monies raised to support its many projects like Dream It * Be It providing career support to girls in secondary school who face obstacles to their future success; Tule House Residential program to support mothers struggling with addiction to drugs, providing treatment and a safe place for their children to flourish; Stop Human Trafficking awareness and training programs; The Nest, a local maternity group home that improves the lives of at risk parents, ages 18 to 21, and their children.

Visit the club at its Facebook page at Soroptimists International of ClearLake@SIClearLake.
