Assembly committee approves legislation to stop arbitrary eviction in California

AB 2925, introduced by Assemblymember Rob Bonta (D - Oakland) to prohibit arbitrary “no-cause” evictions of California tenants, passed the Assembly Judiciary Committee Tuesday by a vote of 6-3, with Assemblymember Ed Chau abstaining.
