LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Due to the severe damage and evacuations caused by the Northern California wildfires, Food and Nutrition Services retailers in several California counties may accept SNAP, or CalFresh, benefits in exchange for hot foods and foods intended to be consumed on retailer premises.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The ReRunway Secondhand Fashion Show fundraiser will offer outrageous fashion and contagious fun at Boatique Winery this Saturday, Oct. 28.
CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Lake County Republican Women, Federated, or LCRWF, will hold its Nov. 8 meeting from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. at the Orchard Shores Homeowner Association's clubhouse, 500 Orchard Shores Drive in Clearlake Oaks.
A lovely buffet lunch will be served and installation of officers for years 2018 to 2019 will take place.
Members and guests can also look forward to hearing a report from Lani Kane, Republican Central Committee, on the recent Republican conferences she has attended.
This meeting closes out the year 2017. Monthly meetings will resume on Feb. 14, 2018, although support of important issues never stops.
All Republicans, men and women, are welcome at LCRWF meetings. Many men have joined as associate members.
LCRWF is a well established organization. It is a county chapter of California Republican Women Federated established in 1925, and also retains membership in National Federation of Republican Women with headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.
There are more than 1,600 local clubs in the 50 states and in the U.S. Territories. Putting it simply, all Republican Women Federated members work for toward a better America, following closely the issues of county, state and national government.
