LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — The Lake County Registrar of Voters Office is asking voters who received signature verification statements and unsigned ballot envelope statements to make sure they’ve returned the required forms so their vote in the Nov. 4 special statewide election is counted.
Elections officials said the completed statements must be received by the Registrar of Voters Office no later than 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30.
Statements may be returned:

Please note that the Registrar of Voters Office will be closed on Nov. 27 and 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
For the convenience of voters, a drop box has been set up outside the office for after-hours and weekend use. The drop box will be closed promptly at 5 p.m. on Nov. 30.
Replacement forms can be found on the Registrar of Voters’ current election webpage under “Voter Forms.”

LAKEPORT, Calif. — Good news for Pokémon fans is coming to Lakeport this weekend.
Kingdom Games at 102 S Main St. in Lakeport is hosting a Pokémon Trading Card Game, or TCG, tournament this Saturday, Nov. 22.
This event kicks off the establishment of an official local Pokémon League.
All TCG players are invited to participate in this sanctioned, standard format competition which begins at 3 p.m., with sign-ins starting at 2:30 p.m.
This Pokémon TCG tournament is family friendly, inclusive of all ages, and features prize support for both participation and enhanced prizing for bracket winners.
Players should bring their own 60-card deck and be familiar with TCG gameplay.

LAKEPORT, Calif. — The Lake County Registrar of Voters will conduct a public manual tally as part of the official canvass for the Nov. 4 Statewide Special Election.
The manual tally will include at least 1% of randomly selected precincts for every contest from the election, which focused on Prop. 50.
It will take place beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Registrar of Voters Office, 325 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.
The precincts to be tallied will be randomly selected earlier that same day.
Members of the public are welcome to observe the tally but must not interfere with the process.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — The Eastlake Landfill and the Public Services Office will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day.
Both facilities will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Regular operating hours at the landfill are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Public Services Office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
