Every issue has positive, self-help articles written by counselors, recovering addicts and experts in the field of addiction recovery.
"We've learned that there are a couple of big hurdles people face when looking into addiction recovery. First, there is a skepticism of high-cost treatment facilities and second, most often county facilities are nearly impossible to get into. Overcoming Addiction magazine is meant to help those who either can't afford or can't find a facility,” said Alyson Muse, partner with Positive Health Publications Inc.
Additionally, Overcoming Addiction magazine and its publisher, Positive Health Publications Inc. are not affiliated with any rehab or recovery facilities or pharmaceutical companies so the editorial is honest and unbiased.
