‘Family Fun Fest’ planned for July 15

LAKEPORT, Calif. – United Christian Parish is hosting a free Family Fun Fest on Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to noon.

There will be several shaded stations where children can do crafts and art projects. Afterwards, they can enjoy a hot dog and a drink.

All children are welcome to participate in the morning's fun. There is no charge at all; those who wish to will also have an opportunity to register their children for Vacation Bible School later in the month.

United Christian Parish is located at 745 N Brush St. in Lakeport.

Methodist churches plan Father’s Day celebration

CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – The Clearlake Oaks and Clearlake Community Methodists Churches invite the community to join them for the the Father’s Day Celebration in the Park on Sunday, June 18.

The event will begin with an outdoor worship service at 11 a.m. on The Plaza in Clearlake Oaks, to be followed by a barbecue and music.

Worship music will be led by Mike Hines, followed by Lake County’s own The Bridge Band.

There also will be hot dogs and chicken on the grill, with lots of good foods to eat.
